India, Dec. 19 -- The Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HLL Lifecare Limited, a public sector undertaking under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, to start AMRIT (Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment) Pharmacy in the state, an official report said on Thursday.
AMRIT Pharmacy is a flagship initiative launched by HLL Lifecare Ltd to provide affordable medical items-including medicines of all types and categories, surgical items, consumables, and implants-for the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular ailments, and other diseases.
