Dimapur, July 31 -- Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen on Thursday directed all departments to formulate practical and implementable action plans to enforce the plastic-free initiative, beginning with the Nagaland Civil Secretariat.

Chairing a meeting of administrative heads of departments and heads of departments at the Secretariat Conference Hall of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat in Kohima, Imchen also asked departments to lead by example in promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
