Dimapur: Nagaland on Tuesday launched the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027, joining the nationwide exercise that allows citizens to enumerate their households online from June 16 to June 30.

Participating in the launch at Lok Bhavan in Kohima, Governor Nand Kishore Yadav urged residents to actively take part in the exercise, which is being conducted under the theme "My Census, My Development".

Yadav said Census 2027 is being conducted in a fully digital mode and that, for the first time, citizens can complete household enumeration online during the self-enumeration period.
