Nagaland: Three Assam Rifles personnel killed in IED blast in Chumoukedima
Guwahati, July 13 -- A deadly explosion targeting an Assam Rifles convoy in Nagaland's Chumoukedima district claimed the lives of three personnel and left several others injured on Monday (July 13), as security forces launched an extensive operation to track down those behind the attack.
The incident took place near Sokhuvi village, where the convoy was travelling through the area. Initial reports indicate that unidentified assailants targeted the security vehicle with an improvised explosive device (IED), causing a powerful blast.
The injured personnel were rushed to medical facilities for treatment, while officials have yet to disclose their condition.
