Dimapur: Nagaland's Mokokchung district administration on Friday officially launched the District Action Plan for the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) Campaign 2026, in a major push to create a drug-free society.

The localised initiative aligns with the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's nationwide mandate to eradicate substance abuse at the grassroots level.

To tackle the crisis, the district's comprehensive action plan will follow a four-pronged approach.
