Nagaland: Indian and German groups discuss roadmap to improve government school education
Dimapur, Oct. 10 -- The Nagaland government is exploring a long-term partnership with domestic and German philanthropic organisations to improve learning outcomes in government schools and ensure more effective utilisation of education funds, Adviser to the School Education Department Kekhrielhoulie Yhome said.
According to reports on Saturday, Yhome said the proposed initiative follows discussions held since October 5 between the state government and a delegation led by Nikunj Jhaveri, president of the Rotary Club of the Queen's Necklace, Mumbai, and Martin Kasper, president of Germany-based Childaid Network Foundation.
