Dimapur, Oct. 7 -- After assessing the post-disaster needs in Nagaland's Mon and Tuensang districts on Tuesday, the central post-disaster needs assessment team from the MHA, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) and Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) visited Longleng on Wednesday to assess the post-disaster needs in the district.

At a meeting with all line departments under the Longleng District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) at the Longleng District Planning and Development Board hall, the central team asked the departments to properly document the actual damage and losses to facilitate accurate assessment and effective post-disaster planning.
