Aizawl, Aug. 1 -- In a rare display of political unity, major political parties in Mizoram have joined hands to safeguard the integrity of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the electoral roll, a party leader said.

In a joint resolution adopted during an all-party meeting convened by the influential student body Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) in Aizawl, the political parties called for stricter action against fraudulent voter registrations and an extension of the revision deadline.
