Aizawl, Sept. 26 -- Mizoram's influential student body, the Mizoram Zirlai Pawl (MZP), has called for greater protection of state boundaries, stricter enforcement of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system and safeguards for provisions governing marriage and inheritance of property, a leader said on Friday.

During its general assembly held in Darlawn in Aizawl district on Thursday, the organisation adopted a set of resolutions urging the state government to take steps to protect the state's genuine boundaries, according to MZP general secretary Lalhmingsanga Chhangte.
