Aizawl, April 8 -- Mizo National Front (MNF) leader and former minister Lalruatkima on Tuesday declared that the MNF remains the only party capable of governing Aizawl, which he described as the "Jerusalem" of the Mizo people (Zofate).

Addressing a party function in Aizawl's Tuikual locality, Lalruatkima said that the MNF has accomplished developmental works for Aizawl and Mizoram, which he described as grand and truly impressive.

"The MNF, which fights steadfastly 'for God and our land' and dares to take responsibility for the welfare of this land and its people, is the best choice for Aizawl and Zoram," the former Rural Development Minister said.
