Guwahati, Aug. 31 -- East Khasi Hills police have registered cases against Khasi Students' Union (KSU) president Raymond Kharjana, general secretary Reuben Najiar and vice-president Pynkmenlang Sanmiet in connection with the vandalisation of two Meghalaya High Court vehicles at Mawlai Phudmuri and Mawlai Nonglum on the evening of August 19.

The three KSU leaders were produced before the District and Sessions Court on Saturday. They had previously been booked in other cases linked to the violence on August 19, including incidents involving Assam tourist vehicles.
