India, March 5 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the Main Primary Health Centre (PHC) and its supporting infrastructure at Mangsang in East Garo Hills district.
The redevelopment plan includes refurbishing the PHC building, upgrading staff housing, adding new quarters for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) staff, and constructing a hall that can be used for yoga sessions and meetings.
Serving the local community for over 30 years, the health centre is set to receive these upgrades to better address the growing medical needs of residents in the area.
