Guwahati, May 4 -- The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) results for 2026 were announced by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) on May 4. Following exams that took place between February 18 and March 13, thousands of students throughout the state learned their fate.

All streams had good pass rates: Arts had 88.63%, Commerce had 87.49%, Science had 83.70%, and Vocational had the highest at 95.23%.

Conrad K. Sangma, the chief minister, congratulated the students via social media writing: "Your hard work, discipline, and determination have brought you to this important milestone. This achievement reflects not only your efforts, but also the unwavering support of your parents, teachers, and institutions."
