Guwahati, Aug. 6 -- The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Meghalaya, on Wednesday published the Draft Electoral Roll 2026 for all 60 Assembly constituencies, formally launching the statutory process for filing claims and objections under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Chief Electoral Officer B.D.R. Tiwari said the draft electoral rolls have been prepared in line with the Election Commission of India's prescribed schedule. They have been made available at the offices of the District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and all polling stations across the state. Electors can submit claims and objections from August 5 to September 4, 2026.
