INDIA, Dec. 2 -- Manipur BJP MLA Thokchom Radheshyam Singh has asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party will decisively return to power in the 2027 state assembly elections.

Addressing a gathering at his residence in the Heirok constituency, the MLA told supporters that they must not doubt the party's political strength.

"People say the BJP may not come back, but everyone should understand that the party will certainly form the government in 2027. There should be no hesitation or fear about this," Singh declared.

He argued that recent setbacks should not be blamed on the party itself. Drawing an analogy, he said, "If the driver is not skilled, you cannot blame the vehicle or its company."
