Guwahati: The Sadar Hills-based Kuki-Zo Village Volunteer group has requested Naga civil society organisations to step in and help secure the release of the remaining individuals who are still in captivity, as tensions continue to rise in the hill regions of Manipur.

The group stressed the need for calm and cooperation among all parties, saying that humanitarian concerns, peaceful engagement, and mutual understanding should be kept at the centre while instability continues to affect tribal communities.
