Imphal, Sept. 15 -- The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has condemned the alleged killing of two Kuki women in Muktokhal (Leisangphai) village and accused National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) and ZUF (Kamson) of carrying out the attack.

In a statement, the organisation said six Kuki villagers had reportedly been killed over the past three days, including the two women killed on Tuesday.

According to the organisation, Chong'a Sitlhou and Kimboi Singson, residents of Muktokhal (Leisangphai), had gone to their jhum fields when they were allegedly waylaid and shot dead.

The organisation expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and condemned what it described as attacks on innocent civilians.
