Manipur: Kuki groups hold statewide rally, submit memorandum to Centre

Guwahati: Kuki organisations and residents from several parts of Manipur took to the streets on June 19, pressing for government action on issues affecting the Kuki-Zo community.
The largest gathering was held in Kangpokpi, where demonstrators later submitted a memorandum for Prime Minister Narendra Modi through district authorities.
The rally began at Nute Kailhang and proceeded along National Highway-2 to the office of the Deputy Commissioner as part of Kuki Inpi Manipur's statewide campaign for justice.
The event in Kangpokpi was coordinated by the Committee on Tribal Unity, Sadar Hills.
