Imphal, April 8 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh chaired a meeting of all political parties on April 7, condemning the recent violence in Tronglaobi and urging calm across the state.
Political leaders met at the Chief Minister's Secretariat to review the recent unrest in Tronglaobi. They called the attack a "cowardly act" and expressed worry over rising tensions in the state.
Representatives from all parties urged people to stay united and work toward peace during this sensitive time.
Those present pledged complete support to the government's efforts to restore normalcy. It was agreed that the perpetrators would be quickly identified, arrested, and punished in accordance with the law.
