Dimapur, Aug. 9 -- Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Saturday said literary competitions play an important role in developing confidence, critical thinking and the ability to express ideas clearly.

Addressing the 32nd Spero Meliora Literary Competitive Programme at the Kohima Village Multipurpose Building as the special guest, Yadav observed that in a rapidly changing world, success belongs to those who can think independently, communicate effectively and adapt to change.

He commended the organisers, teachers, parents and volunteers for their efforts to nurture the talents and character of young people.
