Kuki Inpi Manipur announces nationwide rally on May 30 over killing of church leaders

Imphal: Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) on Thursday announced a nationwide rally on May 30 over the killing of three Kuki-Zo church leaders and the alleged illegal detention of Kuki-Zo civilians in the state.
In a statement, the organisation said the demonstrations would be held across the country to protest what it described as the "ongoing persecution and targeted victimisation" of the Kuki-Zo community by both Naga and Meitei groups.
According to KIM, the protest is being organised against the alleged failure of authorities to identify and arrest those responsible for the killing of three Kuki-Zo church leaders - Rev. V. Sitlhou, Rev. Kaigoulun and Pastor Paogoulen.
