India, Nov. 7 -- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in Assam on Friday for a two-day official visit and was received at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma received her at the beginning of her two-day visit, which focuses on infrastructure and development initiatives in the state.
