Guwahati: Domestic cooking gas prices have been raised again, with the cost of a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder increasing by Rs 29 effective June 7. The revision marks the second hike in domestic LPG rates within three months, driven largely by sustained pressure from global energy markets.

With the latest change, the price of a standard cylinder in Delhi has moved from Rs 913 to Rs 942, according to industry sources. Officials attributed the hike to continued volatility in international fuel prices, which has been influenced by geopolitical tensions and supply disruptions in key energy producing regions.
