Guwahati: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will stage its second large-scale protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital on Saturday.

As part of its ongoing agitation over alleged examination paper leaks and student suicides, party founder Abhijeet Dipke has urged supporters to carry plates and spoons.

The demonstration is set to begin at 1 pm and is likely to draw students from Delhi as well as nearby regions.

Ahead of the protest, Dipke appealed to participants to bring a "thali" and "chamach," linking the symbolic gesture to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal during the COVID-19 period to express solidarity by banging utensils.
