Guwahati, Oct. 5 -- Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) chief spokesperson Saurav Das has alleged that the government is preparing to arrest him and several other party leaders, including Abhijeet, Ashutosh and Ratna Singh.

In a post on X, Das claimed that the government believed arrests of CJP leaders could weaken the movement. He, however, said the younger generation had become more politically aware and urged people to continue raising their voices over their rights and future, irrespective of whether the party's leaders were present.

Das called for a large-scale mobilisation from October 10 and said CJP leaders were prepared to face arrest or other consequences for their activities.
