India, Sept. 23 -- Guwahati: The Assam Society of Bangalore (ASoB) organised a heartfelt Shraddhanjali for the late music icon Zubeen Garg on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in HSR Layout. From 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the stadium became a sea of emotions as nearly 5,000 people - largely from the Assamese community - gathered to pay their last respects.
For ASoB, Zubeen was more than an artist; he was family. Since 2007, he had performed ten times for the society, the most recent being in April this year. His absence was deeply felt, yet his presence lingered in the voices, tears, and memories of those who had come to honor him.
