India, Dec. 12 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Assam Police is set to file its charge sheet in the Zubeen Garg 'murder' case on Friday before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Kamrup (Metro).
The investigation pertains to the unexplained death of the celebrated singer, who died on September 19 while swimming in Singapore during a visit to the North East India Festival.
Police have arrested seven people in connection with the case. Five of them are lodged in the Baksa district jail, while the other two remain in judicial custody at the Haflong sub-jail in Dima Hasao district.
