India, March 20 -- The Indian National Congress released its fourth round of candidates for the 2026 Assam Assembly elections on Friday, March 20, naming nominees for seven constituencies.

As part of a seat-sharing plan, 11 seats have been allocated to its ally Raijor Dal.

The candidates include Bidisha Neog for Jalukbari, Rohit Pariga for Tangla, Jayanta Borah for Biswanath, Joy Prakash Das for Nowboicha (SC), Gyandip Mohan for Mahmora, Pran Kurmi for Titabor, and Rahul Roy for Hailakandi.

Under the alliance arrangement, Raijor Dal will contest from Manas, Dalgaon, Dhing, Kaliabor, Tezpur, Sissibargaon, Margherita, Digboi, Sivasagar, Mariani, and Bokakhat, several constituencies regarded as major political battlegrounds.
