Guwahati, Aug. 12 -- Assam's flood death toll has risen to 102, with around 1.12 lakh people still affected in seven districts. The latest ASDMA assessment on August 11 showed that around 1.12 lakh people remained affected.

At present, 47 relief camps are accommodating 7,982 people who remain displaced. Flooding has also continued across 25 revenue circles in the seven affected districts.

Sivasagar has reported some of the heaviest losses. The preliminary figures show 476 villages and five revenue circles affected, with nearly 5.74 lakh people impacted.
