Haflong, April 7 -- With campaigning concluded for Assam's 126 Legislative Assembly seats, the spotlight falls on Dima Hasao's lone 113-Haflong constituency, where three candidates, Nandita Gorlosa (INC), Rupali Langthasa (BJP), and Daniel Langthasa (NPP), are vying for victory. On April 9, 158,204 voters will decide their fate.
BJP's Rupali Langthasa held large rallies across the district in the past weeks, while Congress's Nandita Gorlosa conducted door-to-door campaigns in villages and organized a major rally in Haflong on the final day, which drew thousands of supporters. Meanwhile, NPP's Daniel Langthasa opted for 'pocket meetings' to connect with voters.
