Guwahati, April 9 -- Dhubri district saw an exceptional voter response in the 2026 Assam Assembly elections on Thursday, April 9, with overall turnout reaching 92.68%.
Polling across the district's five key constituencies concluded peacefully, despite logistical challenges, as residents turned out in large numbers to cast their votes. Each assembly segment reported strong voter participation, showing the district's active involvement in the electoral process.
Golakganj recorded the highest turnout at 94.52%, followed by Gauripur at 93.56%. Birsing Jarua reported 93.09%, Dhubri 91.95%, and Bilasipara 89.56%.
