India, April 3 -- Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaurav Gogoi on Friday strongly criticised Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over alleged remarks about Kunki Chowdhury and her family in Sarupathar.
Speaking to reporters after a campaign event in Sarupathar, Gogoi said that targeting a woman in this way reflects poorly on the Chief Minister. He added, "Attacking a woman like her says more about the Chief Minister than about anyone else and shows the low standard of his behaviour."
