Assam CM reviews healthcare infrastructure, 11 medical college projects

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Saturday, on June 20, conducted a review of 11 ongoing medical college and hospital projects across the state, with emphasis on strengthening healthcare infrastructure and medical education.
The review was held at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati, where updates on ongoing construction works were presented.
Preparatory status of four proposed medical colleges and hospitals, yet to begin construction, was also reviewed.
The Chief Minister asked departments concerned to adhere to fixed timelines for completion of all projects.
