Dibrugarh: A 29-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her rented residence in Milan Nagar area of Dibrugarh on Thursday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Babita Das, a native of Assam's Sivasagar district.

According to family members, Das was found lying unresponsive on a bed inside her room. She was immediately taken to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

"We found her lying on the bed and rushed her to the hospital. The doctors declared her brought dead. She was living in the house with her two sons. Her husband works as a night-super driver. We do not know what actually happened," her elder sister said.
