Guwahati, May 3 -- On Sunday morning, May 3, the West Kamrup Forest Division saved two leopard cubs from the Saikata region of Boko.

With the help of locals,Bandapara Regional Forest Office personnel conducted the rescue operation at approximately 11 a.m.The endangered cubs were successfully retrieved from the area by forest personnel under the direction of Range Officer Kulumanali Gogoi.

Veterinarians examined the leopard cubs condition after the rescue.The animals were subsequently moved by officials to the State Zoo in Guwahati for safekeeping, medical attention,and additional care.

The rescued leopard cubs are thought to be between three to four months old, according to forest officials.
