Bajali, July 19 -- A journalist and a PNRD employee were injured after a speeding car allegedly rammed the scooty they were travelling on from behind in Assam's Pathsala, once again raising concerns over rash driving by four-wheelers in the town.

According to the victims, the accident occurred on Wednesday night when journalist Sasangka Talukdar and Sidhartha Roy, an employee of the Panchayat and Rural Development (PNRD) Department, were travelling on a scooty.

A speeding Maruti Baleno bearing registration number AS19L 7794, allegedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner, struck their two-wheeler from behind.
