India, March 11 -- For nearly five decades, Aikyatan has served as a prominent cultural cultural haven in Guwahati, promoting theatre, literature and artistic expression. Founded in 1976 by writer, journalist and playwright Pabitra Kumar Deka, the institution gradually grew into a recognised cultural landmark in Assam. As Aikyatan celebrates its Golden Jubilee this year, the occasion reflects a long journey dedicated to the arts and cultural activities.
