Doomdooma: Intense heat, thick dust clouds, and dangerous road ditches have made travel along parts of NH-37 in Upper Assam's Doomdooma increasingly difficult for commuters and local residents.

The situation is reported to be especially severe on the stretch from Tipuk to the ITBP Camp road and near the Doomdooma new bridge construction site, where damaged surfaces and large potholes are causing traffic disruptions and safety concerns.

With the temperature touching around 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the "feels like" temperature nearing 40 degrees, the dusty conditions have become even more unbearable for pedestrians, bikers, and roadside residents.
