Guwahati, Oct. 11 -- The Kutumb Suraksha Parishad (KSP) has demanded the immediate suspension and arrest of Dr Pradip Rajbanshi, a gynaecologist and obstetrician at the First Referral Unit (FRU) in Barpeta Road, over allegations that he kicked a woman inside the government hospital.

In a press release issued on Saturday, KSP chief secretary Pranay Kumar Barman condemned the alleged incident and called for strict punishment against the doctor.

The organisation alleged that the woman was subjected to physical and mental humiliation on the hospital premises, raising concerns over patient safety and the dignity of women receiving treatment at government healthcare facilities.
