Guwahati, Aug. 10 -- Assam minister Keshab Mahanta on Sunday, August 9, visited several flood-affected areas under the Samaguri Revenue Circle in Nagaon district to assess the situation and review relief measures.

Mahanta visited Goru Mara, Bhomora Guri and Era Kalong, among other flood-hit areas, and interacted with residents to assess the extent of inundation and the assistance being provided by the authorities.

The minister also visited temporary relief camps and spoke with displaced residents about the availability of essential supplies and other relief support.
