Guwahati, July 10 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms at isolated places across Assam until June 13 due to the prevailing monsoon conditions.

According to the forecast, most parts of the state are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning, while isolated places in the western and southern districts may experience heavy rainfall of 7-11 cm per day and very heavy rainfall of 12-20 cm per day over the next two to three days.
