Guwahati, Aug. 10 -- Assam's young Wushu athlete Diksha Tiwari from Biswanath district has made her mark on the international stage, winning three medals for India at the Batumi Open International Wushu Championship 2026 in Batumi, Georgia.

Hailing from Naduar, Diksha delivered a strong performance in the Taolu events, securing two silver medals and one bronze medal at the international championship.

She won silver in the Nanquan and Nandao Taolu categories, competing in southern-style barehand and broadsword routines. She also claimed a bronze medal in Nanquan, completing a three-medal haul for India.
