Haflong, June 29 -- Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Chief Executive Member Debolal Gorlosa on Monday chaired a meeting with leaders of the disbanded Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA) to review the implementation of the Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) signed in 2023.

The meeting, held at the DHAC conference hall in Haflong, reviewed the progress of the peace agreement, discussed key issues and stressed the timely implementation of commitments under the settlement.

The DNLA was disbanded after 181 of its cadres laid down arms and joined the mainstream following the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Settlement with the Centre and the Assam government on October 28, 2023.
