Guwahati, Aug. 6 -- Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hagrama Mohilary on Thursday visited flood-affected areas of Assam's Sivasagar district, leading a 104-member relief team that distributed essential supplies to families affected by the recent floods.

Mohilary was accompanied by Assam MLA Arup Kumar Dey, while Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi received the delegation and joined them during the visit to the flood-hit localities.

The BTC team brought a large consignment of relief materials, including bedsheets, mosquito nets, hygiene kits and other essential items, which were distributed among families struggling with the prolonged flooding.
