Assam: ATTSA leader condemns alleged exploitation of accident victims' families in Tinsukia

Doomdooma: Assam Tea Tribes Students Association (ATTSA) leader Irot Tanti on Saturday condemned the alleged exploitation of accident-affected families in connection with Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (MACT) cases.
"Are some people actually waiting for accident victims to die? They call the relatives and neighbours of injured persons to ask whether the victim is still alive and allegedly promise substantial sums of money if the victim dies. It appears as though they are praying for the death of accident victims," said Irot Tanti, president of the ATTSA Doomdooma regional committee.
