Assam: ATTSA alleges flood-hit villages in Sivasagar yet to receive government relief
Doomdooma, July 30 -- The Assam Tea Tribes Students' Association (ATTSA), Doomdooma Regional Committee, on Thursday alleged that several flood-affected villages and tea garden areas in Assam's Sivasagar district have not received any relief from the government or district administration despite widespread damage.
The allegation came after an ATTSA delegation visited Chontok Tea Estate, Hanuman Tea Estate, Bamunpukhuri Tea Estate, Nepalikhuti village and the Chikri bridge area to distribute relief materials to affected residents.
