Guwahati, Sept. 28 -- Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain secured another Asian Games medal for India after defeating South Korea's Seong Suyeon in the women's 75kg quarterfinal on Monday.

Making her first appearance of the tournament, the Assam-born boxer delivered a dominant performance to register a 5-0 unanimous decision victory and advance to the semifinals. The win guarantees Lovlina at least a bronze medal, while she will now aim to progress to the final.

The victory also gives Lovlina a podium finish at consecutive editions of the Asian Games. She had won a silver medal at the previous edition and will be looking to improve on that performance in the ongoing competition.
