Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced on Wednesday that Phase-I of a district-wise review exercise has begun with a four-hour meeting aimed at assessing the ground situation and the functioning of newly created districts across the state.

The districts covered in this phase include Kamle, Lower Siang, Pakke Kessang, Lepa Rada, Shi Yomi, Keyi Panyor and Bichom, which were reviewed in detail during the first round of the exercise.

The review examined manpower shortages, department-wise vacancies, administrative infrastructure, and issues that may require policy-level intervention from the state government.
