Guwahati, April 16 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik met Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia in New Delhi on Wednesday, April 15, and sought greater support from the Centre to improve sports infrastructure and strengthen the agri-horticulture sector in the state.

As per an official release, the Governor pointed out the strong sporting abilities of young people in Arunachal Pradesh and stressed the need to build modern and easily accessible infrastructure to help them grow and succeed.

Parnaik also sought assistance from the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) for constructing a full-scale football facility in Itanagar.
