Guwahati, April 23 -- The Arunachal Pradesh government has introduced a proposal to develop the Subansiri Lower Pondage into a high-end tourism hub focused on mountains and river experiences, with the aim of boosting the state's position in the tourism sector.
Officials stated that the plan is designed to merge nature-based tourism, adventure activities, cultural exposure, and livelihood opportunities in a sustainable framework built around a large hydropower facility.
